Max DeLacy, 29, is fighting a particularly vicious form of cancer -- a fairly rare one that invaded his sinus and wandered around his head to a jaw, a cheek, behind an eye to the base of his brain. He is undergoing treatment at the Stanford Cancer Center, one of the best cancer centers on the planet. Max has insurance, but he faces more than $20,000 in co-payments and hotel and house rentals near Stanford for surgery and two months of radiation and chemotherapy. To help him, we are going to have one helluva party. More than 10 bands will donate their services, and scores of friends and businesses are donating time, money, food, labor and goods to be auctioned and raffled at "Party to the Max." Please join us. |
